"ME & MY DOG"
BY KINGSTON RIPLEY....

This is me and my dog Chevy!

I like to watch him play...

We are best friend!

We share secrets...

and I think he is pretty cute!

I like to give him cuddles...

and squeeze him tight!!

We also like to play tag - if I run really fast he will chase me!

but sometimes we just like to chill out and watch the world go by...

My dog is super cool he lets me sit on him!

He also follows me where ever I go...

I watch his back....

and he watches mine!!

He even lets me play with his food - and lets me sneak some when Mum isn't looking...

I make sure he has lots of water to keep him cool...

it's fun to turn the tap on and off...

I love my dog!!

He is pretty cool!!
KALOWNA!!
We met Merle for the afternoon just before she flew back home! It was so good to see her even if it was just for a couple of hours!

Rene opening up the NZ flag from Carol - thank you!

Merle brought over lots of goodies from home!!! Thanks Mums (and Dads)!!!

One happy chappy! Reon with his ginger nuts and iced animals!

Talk about SPOILT!!!!

We are now at Wayne and Roxy's for a couple of nights before we head off to the Shuswap lake to go houseboating - exciiiiiting!!
OUR LAST FEW DAYS IN WHISTLER!!
Well our Whistler days are now over -they flew by but we enjoyed every one of them and we all ended our biking season in one piece - yay! Our last few days consisted of spending time at the lake, biking as much as we could and doing things that we have been meaning to do since we got there!
A few pics from our last days...

Walking to the lake...

Lost lake is a 15min walk from where we park the camper by day. As you can see it's a popular lake!

We met a couple of friends who where passing through Whistler there for the afternoon...

Chilling out in the shade of the camper after a hard afternoon of biking...

Reading books & eating ice cream in the sun! Haaa bliss!!

For our last night in Whistler we had a nice dinner out!

I had to add this photo in just coz it is sooo cute!! This guy was carrying the puppy thru the village...
OUR HIKE!!
Rene, Janelle, Dan and I went for a hike the day before we left Whistler - unfortunately Reon had to work. We caught the gondola up to mid station, had lunch and then caught another chair up to the top - we then went for a bit of a hike over the ridges!
Here are the pics! :)

Looking over the edge...

The Canadian Olympic symbol in the left hand corner..

Posing by a snow bank - we etched our names into the snow above us but you can't really see it!

Hiking back to catch the chairlift home! It was an awesome afternoon!
THE PEAK TO PEAK!
Janelle and I caught the peak to peak on one of our last days in Whistler. It is the worlds longest unsupported gondola - 3km is the unsupported length. It goes from Whistler mountain over to Blackcomb.... click here for more info on it if you are interested in looking at the facts and figures!
Here are a few pics...

Setting out of the gondola station...

The view...

It's a long way down... the highest point is 436m above the creek!

Looking back at the Whistler mountain

Janelle and I in the gondola

Reon was working over on the Blackcomb mountain loading tourist's onto the chairlift so we snuck up on him and took photos!

Reon catching us out!

The sun shining on our ride down on the chair lift...

PEMBERTON MEETING!
This is our Pemberton meeting it was so special to meet with these couples.

From Left to Right: Mark Remple, Sheryl Remple, Janelle, Andrea, Anna Pratt, Betty Talbot, Lorry Talbort, Rene and Reon!

They all spoilt us and we never once had to cook Sunday Lunch! This is sitting outside on Lorry and Betty's deck.
