We caught the ferry at 8am in the morning to Sitka. The weather was beautiful when we started out but it slowly got worse and by Sitka it was raining quite hard. The weather in Sitka was a lot like Auckland it would be sunny and beautiful one minute and then pouring with rain the next! Some friends picked us up from the ferry terminal and we were spoilt with a tour of the town!
