SEWARD
We stayed in Seward for one night - Seward is a tiny town and we had checked it out in one afternoon. We were going to rent Kayaks here as there are quite a few glaciers around but we thought we would wait until Valdez (the weather turned horrible in Valdez so in hindsight we should have rented them here but o well) Seward had another big marina so it was fun to walk around and check out all the boats...

The marina

A big jelly fish floating just off the dock...

Seward - Mile 0

These local boys knocked on the camper door to show us this rabbit that they had just caught - cute!

I later found it on the rocks at the beach - it seemed pretty tame and let me come right up close to get the picture...

A view from just outside our camper.. Dolphins swam past here but they weren't playing just passing through...

The rocky beach...

Our cruise ship left from Seward, so all we seen was just around the ship. I used to write to a girl (we met on the ship) that lived in Homer. So beautiful.
