GRANDPA COMES TO STAY!

I have been so slack at updating our blog! But don't worry I am still taking plenty of photos!! ;-)
These photos are over a month old now... This is when he was around two months old. Dad came over and stayed with us, I was so glad he got to meet Lakyn when he was still fairly small and it was awesome having him stay!!!

Gazing up at Dad

We went out for breakfast and the girls didn't even get a look in with Lakyn. The boys took him and oo'd and ahh'd over him the whole time!

Daddy thinks this is funny to do.. Mummy not so much!!

I expressed a bottle & Re was able to feed him

The cutest little sock monkey from Laverne!

COUSINS

Lakyn and I flew down to Brisbane last Wednesday to introduce Lakyn to his cousins!! Dad has been over staying with us and I'm so glad he was with me for Lakyn's first flying experience which he was oblivious too as he slept the whole flight! Here's a few photos and videos of the cousins!!

Coen is infatuated with him, so so so cute!!!
Kisses!
The first morning

Listen to Kaisha in this one! Poor wee mite she gets ignored about her park idea!!

CAMPING AT LAKE TINAROO

The 2nd weekend camping in a row, this time we went to Lake Tinaroo which is a 4 1/2 hour drive from home. We hadn't been up to the Tablelands before so thought we better do it before the wet season hits us. Lakyn was awesome and slept nearly the whole way, we only had to stop once to change his pants (which turned into a disaster) and give him a feed before getting back on the road. Since it was in-land it was a lot cooler which helped heaps and was a fun weekend!
Changing his nappy turned out to be a bit of a disaster! He pee'd all over the seat and himself as soon as I took the nappy off and proceeded to empty out his bowels as well!
When we arrived our tent was set up for us and dinner was cooked! How spoilt were we!!!

CAMPING AT HIDDEN VALLEY

All ready to go, we had everything including the dog!!!

Hidden Valley is about a 2 hour drive from our house. Its up over this mountain range...

Then through these really tall trees on this really narrow road...

Then its onto the typical Aussie scenery

Our camping spot

Dinner time

He looks like a little pixie!

Sitting round the camp fire

Lakyn enjoying his first camp fire!

He slept in the suitcase. It was really cold at night and super hot during the day!

In his gorgeous knitted hoodie from Grandma Knowler

Chilling with Chris
Monkey bum!

It was disgustingly hot, combined with lack of sleep made out for one tired looking Mama!

Swimming in the creek

Chris loves babies and would take Lakyn out walking in the evening and put him to sleep
